Flamengo landed in the early hours of Monday morning in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the team will participate for the first time in Libertadores, against Velez Sarsfield. Players, officials and coaching staff went to the hotel after undergoing covid-19 tests, which is a standard procedure at the airport.
The plane landed in the Argentine capital at 12:17 am on Monday (Brasilia time) at Ezeiza International Airport. Despite the schedule, some red and black fans went to accompany the delegation’s arrival.

The duel against Velez Sarsfield is scheduled to take place next Tuesday, 21:30 (Brasilia time), at the Jose Amalfitani Stadium. In Group G, Flamengo will also face Union La Calera and LDU.
