Zendaya surprised the audience at Coachella, a music festival that takes place in California, in the United States, on Saturday night (22). The actress took the stage alongside musician Labrinth to sing the songs “All For Us” and “I’m Tired,” both from the soundtrack to Euphoria, a series in which she is one of its heroines.
The artist has had some musical work throughout her career, but it has been years since she performed as a singer. On her Instagram profile, Zendaya thanked the audience for the invitation and reception. “Thank you to my brother for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful and safe space to be on stage again. My heart is so full and I cannot thank you enough for the love I have received.”
After the special, Zendaya revealed that the call was at the last minute and that she had a lot of fun. “I’ve never heard a scream like that in my entire life, as soon as I turned the corner I couldn’t hear anything but you. Thank you all for welcoming me with open arms to the stage.”
According to a journalist from the Puck News website, the actress has renewed her contract for the third season of the HBO series and will earn approximately $1 million US dollars (about R$5.19 million) per episode.
