One of the most anticipated features of Xbox Cloud Gaming is definitely the ability to access any game in your console library on the service.
Xbox confirmed that this new Xbox Cloud Gaming feature is being developed in 2022, and it is scheduled to launch in the same year. However, 2022 and 2023 have passed and the new feature has yet to be made available on the Xbox game streaming service. However, it now appears that this situation is about to change.
In a post on his official X profile, journalist Jez Corden praised the launch of Xbox Cloud Gaming on Amazon’s Fire TV devices, while criticizing those who claimed it would mark the “end of Xbox.” Concluding the post, Jez Corden stated that Xbox’s goal is to have all of the games in its library available on the service by the end of the year, which would be a real “Christmas gift” for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
However, he confirmed that not all games will be available, as some publishers have chosen not to sign agreements. It is not clear why some games will not be accessible via Xbox Cloud Gaming, despite the potential sales benefit. However, he confirmed that “many, many games” will be available.
