There will be some changes to the Microsoft Rewards app, and not all of them are positive. Unfortunately, many of the changes have limited how players earn points and reduced the value of some actions, making it take longer to build up a large stash.
Now, another change to the service has been shared on Reddit and it appears that it will further limit the amount of points users can earn.
Update says: “In the Microsoft Rewards section, we’ve added language to clarify how points are claimed in the Rewards dashboard and that points will only be awarded for surveys used for genuine, bona fide personal research purposes.”
Now, what exactly this means is unknown at the time of writing, as nothing has gone into effect yet, although users are taking this as a sign that Microsoft will “Take strict action against people who do meaningless searches or the same set of words day after day.“
If you didn’t know, you can earn points by using Bing regularly, whether it’s completing tasks or simply using it as your primary browser. So Microsoft wants people to use Bing in their daily lives and not just to build up their Microsoft Rewards balance. So stay tuned.
With this credit, you can buy months of Xbox Game Pass or even games, this has become common on Xbox, but now some restrictions have appeared and you need to understand that so that you can redeem your credits.
