According to the director of the head of the City Hall Innovation Agency, Edvaldo Vasconcelos, the final of the competition, which has the support of City Hall, will take place between the 23rd, 24th and 25th of this month in person. The tournament kicked off last weekend in a virtual environment.

Edvaldo explained that the event will distribute cash prizes to the first three places, as a means of encouraging activity. According to him, first place will receive R$1,500, second place will receive R$1,000, and third place will receive R$500. “This initiative represents another opportunity offered by the City Hall to encourage learning through technology, with the aim of promoting the inclusion of those young people who do not have financial circumstances.

The opening of the 20th National Science and Technology Week (SNCT), promoted by the Secretariat of Science and Technology (Secitec), is scheduled to take place in the João Pessoa City Hall, at 5 p.m., on the 23rd of this month, in the Cultural Center.
