During a visit to the Disaster Emergency Committee in London last Thursday, Prince William and Kate Middleton simply ignored a reporter’s question about Prince Harry’s latest statement.
In an interview with NBC News’ Today programme, Prince Harry revealed information about his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II last week. Speaking to journalist Hoda Kotb, he said, “It was wonderful to be with her. It was nice to see you. She is in good shape.”
Harry also said that despite living away from the Queen these days, he is doing everything he can to ensure his grandmother stays safe and supported. “I want her to be protected and to have the right people around her,” he told the journalist. “You know, home – home to me, now, you know, right now, in the United States.”

When William and Kate got into the car after their visit, the TV journalist asked, “Sir, does the Queen need protection?” The Duke and Duchess did not respond and instead got into the car and ignored the reporter.
Harry’s interview comes amid speculation about the true health of the Queen of the United Kingdom, who tested positive for Covid-19 in February. Since then, she has shied away from official obligations, delegating her duties to other members of the royal family such as Charles, Camilla, William and Kate.
Harry remains in The Hague, Netherlands for the Invictus Games, an athletic competition for injured or sick ex-army. The event has been created and supported by him since 2014.
Before arriving in the Netherlands, to open the event last weekend, Harry and Meghan Markle visited the UK and met the Queen. Elizabeth II turned 96 yesterday, April 21.
