Taylor Swift performed her second show as part of The Eras Tour in Sao Paulo, at Allianz Parque, on Saturday evening (25). At the beginning of the show, she thanked the audience and said that she chose the city for the last show of the year because of its “generous” audience.
“I played here on Friday night (24th) and I told the crowd that it was the largest crowd in the history of this stadium. Now, I tell you that we broke the record again,” he said, referring to the number of matches he played. An audience of more than 50 thousand people. The singer also asked for applause for artist Sabrina Carpenter, who opened her performances.
He then commented: “This is our last city for the Eras Tour 2023. We were very careful when choosing the last city of the year, and decided to find the most generous fans in the world.” Taylor also stressed that the way she was received the first time she was in São Paulo was “way beyond what I expected.”
The Eras Tour will stop after the show on Sunday (26) in São Paulo, and will only resume on February 7, 2024 with shows in Tokyo, Japan.
Taylor Swift will also perform in Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria and Canada, with the last scheduled performances scheduled for December next year. (current status)
