Vinicius Jr will take advantage of his day off to take part in a friendly in the US this Friday night. The Real Madrid star starred in the second edition of the festive game promoted by ex-players Ronaldinho Gacho and Roberto Carlos at Orlando City’s home venue Exploria Stadium.
The tournament featured many of the biggest names in Brazilian football such as Cafu, Aldair, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Dita, Emerson and Diego, along with Eder Militão, Willian and Lucas Moura. Foreigners such as Mascherano, Veron, Higuita, Valderrama, Lugano, Nani and Dybala also took part. Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos led the teams completed by some handprints and artists.
Even among the big stars, Vinicius Jr. stood out for both teams in Orlando. The Brazil national team striker, who played in a calm manner, applied the pen and pedals and made a beautiful pass to score the goal.
Ronaldinho’s side won 4-3 thanks to goals from Jay-Jay Okocha, Cafu, Patrick Kluivert and Vinicius Junior. Rivaldo and Lucas Moura scored the other goals for the former left-back
Despite the great celebration, the game did not reach the end. About 15 minutes into the second half, heavy rain poured into the stadium and fans began to leave the stands towards the grass in search of photos and autographs. With this, the players huddled in the locker room and the match ended about 30 minutes early.
