Video: A woman pulls the hair of the President of Peru in a strange scene

Peruvian President Dina Boluarte was attacked on Saturday (20) when her hair was pulled during an official activity in the Chiara district of Ayacucho province.

The person responsible for the attack has been identified as Ruth Bárcena Loayza, president of the Association of Victims and Wounded on December 15, 2022 in Ayacucho.

On December 15, 2022, the state of Ayacucho was the scene of a massacre committed by the Boluarte government. Hundreds of demonstrators protested against the Vice President and in favor of ousted President Pedro Castillo.

Ten people were killed, including Ruth Bárcena Loayza's husband. 61 others were seriously injured due to police repression.

Boluarte was rejected by 85% of Peru's population according to a survey conducted by La Repubblica newspaper. Only 8% of Peruvians approve of the government. In April 2024, new presidential elections will be held.
