The 75th annual meeting of the Brazilian Association for the Advancement of Science takes place in July in Curitiba

The Local Executive Committee of the 75th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Association for the Advancement of Science (SBPC), hosted by the Federal University of Paraná in 2023, between July 23 and 29, announces the opening of registration for the reservation of accommodation. For students who will participate in the event.
The UFPR will provide free accommodation vacancies, in premises adapted from different units of the Foundation, near the main venue of the event, in the Polytechnic Center.
Entries are directed to undergraduate or postgraduate students from federal or state higher education institutions in the country, who will participate in the event, and will be able to access the accommodation booking platform dedicated to the SBPC. Entries to book vacancies will be made individually, on the booking platform accessible through the page SBPC at UFPR – Residence.
Subscribers will receive information automatically by registered e-mail, with individual QR code and other relevant information about the property. On the booking platform, students will find information about locations, booking periods, eligibility, rules for the use and occupancy of accommodation and will be able to apply for available places.
SBPC 2023
With the main theme “Science and Democracy for a Just and Developed Brazil”, the 75th Annual Meeting of the SBPC will take place between July 23-29 at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with institutional support from UTFPR.
SBPC annual meetings have been held without interruption since 1949, with the participation of representatives of scientific societies, authorities and directors of the national science and technology system, and the SBPC annual meeting aims to discuss public policies in the fields of science, technology, innovation and education and to disseminate the progress of science in various fields of knowledge for all the population.
