US General Says Bitcoin Needs More Guardians

Robert Spalding, a retired US Air Force general, joined the discussion on Bitcoin on social media and got excited about the cryptocurrency after some responses from investors.

Every conversation started with an innocent question from the general. “If so [o Bitcoin] Can be cut countless times, isn’t that really rare?”Spalding questioned.

In the comments, many explained differently that division is not multiplication. For example, they noted that a 1 dollar bill can be divided between 1,000 people, but this does not change the fact that it is 1 dollar.

Although he holds a doctorate in economics and mathematics, it took him a while to understand the general explanation, leading some to joke about the situation.

“I would say the dollar is in short supply thanks to the central bank”General Spalding commented.

“You’re getting there very slowly.”One follower responded, joking about the general’s delay in understanding the Bitcoin story.

However, Spalding showed that no question is stupid, and that if a person is open in conversation, they can learn something new from someone who has a different point of view than their own.

US General Shows Interest in Bitcoin

Following the conversation, US General Robert Spalding said Bitcoin needs people who care more about protecting cryptocurrency than their money.

“For bitcoin to go anywhere, it needs advocates who care about more than their own net worth.”

Again, the community pointed Spalding to many people who could follow to learn more about Bitcoin. One of the examples cited is Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter and now entrepreneur of several BTC-focused ventures such as Ocean.

Finally, while some believe that Bitcoin is already in its final stages, recent interest from the likes of General Spaulding shows that we are still at the beginning. Apparently, the general could become a better supporter of Bitcoin once he learns more about the project.
