Team Bloober and co-producer Anshar Studios have announced that Layers of Fear will arrive on June 15th for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
In addition to revealing the date for the horror series’ long-awaited comeback, Bloober revealed a new trailer, introducing Layers of Fear, and also sharing the requirements your equipment must meet if you want to play it at different levels of quality.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Layers of Fear will include support for technologies such as Ray Tracing, HDR, and 4K resolution for high-quality graphics and stunning reflections. The use of Lumen global illumination is another feature developed by Bloober, along with the Niagara visual effects found in the Epic Games tools.
Layers of Fear’s mission is to become a new benchmark for horror games and honor the history of this series. With high definition visuals, the team hopes to provide a great sense of immersion in the world and cause great fears.
Here are the requirements and the trailer:
“Incurable thinker. Food aficionado. Subtly charming alcohol scholar. Pop culture advocate.”
