British TV star Michael Mosley’s doctor, 67, disappeared after going for a walk on the Greek island of Symi early Wednesday afternoon (5).
What happened
The BBC star fell off a cliff, police said. Agents are working on the theory that Mosley fell on St Nicholas Beach, according to information from the Daily Star.
The BBC star travelled to the place to enjoy a few days of holiday with his wife. Claire Bailey, 62, called police after Mosley failed to return to where they were staying. She called them at 7:30 p.m. local time.
Local authorities pursued the doctor to the location Claire had indicated. However, when they followed the route Mosley had taken, they did not find him. A search and rescue team was sent from Athens, including drones and other search equipment.
“The police and coast guard have been notified. The island’s rescue team, EMAC, is also involved,” the local police statement said.
The TV star is known for his food work in the UK. Born in Calcutta, India, he promotes methods such as: Intermittent fasting And following a low-carb diet. Appears on programs that discuss these and other topics.
