Czech Jerry Prochazka attacked the UFC Light Heavyweight division. After making his debut with a devastating knockout on Swiss Volkan Ozdemir, he repeated his shot against another title competitor, American Dominique Reyes. With a great performance in his technique, accepting punches with his goalkeeper and attacking his opponent in every way, Prochazka knocked Reyes out with a sweeping round elbow in 4:29 of the second round, leaving the opponent unconscious in the octagon. After the battle, the Czech, who had 12 consecutive wins, 11 of them by knockout, said that he was ready to fight for the belt.

– I just want to show the beauty of martial arts, but sometimes I go too fast in search of victory, I take the wrong punches. I’m still learning. I took some counter-punches from Dominic and didn’t have the opportunity to make plans to fight. The alarm just happened. I’m ready to fight for the belt. Come on. I love Jan Blauchowicz, but he’s fighting Glover Teixeira. I think I’ll face the winner. Before UFC, all my fights and my team taught me to get better. I am now in the UFC, and I want to be the champ with honor and humility.

The fight with Prochazka began fighting with his bodyguards down, as usual. Reyes tried not to make way for the Czechs, and kept the fight at close range. The two fighters fired well, but the American managed to fall well before the half-round, and fell over the top. Prochazka managed to clear the center, and soon after, he hit a good right punch that shook Reyes. The American attacked his opponent and tied good rights to him, even with his caution, he did not seem to feel the blows and continued the attack.

The Czech maintained the unconventional style in the second round, and even with his goalkeeper landing and taking punches from Reyes, he continued attacking and pressing the American. Dominic Reyes had the opportunity to install a guillotine, but Brushazka was quietly freed and remained on top of the ground. Reyes managed to get up again, and during the exchange of blows next to the net, which was already worn out, the American saw the Czech elbow in the air, then tied the rotating elbow that hit the American head in the head, which fell.
Giga Chikadze collapses from inside the Swanson cub
I look at Giga Chikadze! The Georgian featherweight proves to be one of the good new names in the class with every fight it takes in the octagon. This Saturday, he submitted another victim (eighth in a row): veteran Cobb Swanson, who knocked out a kick in the waist at just 1’03 in the first round.

With his wings larger, Chikadze started the fight by kicking Swanson in the legs. The American was not intimidated and sought to quickly enter the scope of the Georgian’s work, trying to hit him. Nevertheless, Chikadze maintained his strategy and hit a left kick at the American waistline, which he immediately felt, bent his back and nearly fell. The Georgian stepped up and set victory by knockout with a few more strokes.
Ion Cotelapa and Dustin Jacoby Tie
After face-after-weight confusion, heavyweight lightweight players Ion Cutelaba and Dustin Jacoby fought a balanced fight and different moments, causing the side referees to announce a tie split as a result (29-28, 28-29 and 28-28).

Cutelaba fully dominated the first round. Moldovan stroked Jacobi’s back against the handrail and punished the American with elbows and punches to the head, in addition to several falls. Cutelaba started the second round exactly the way round one ended: he dominated Jacobi’s back against the grid. The American only began to use punches and his larger wingspan to prevent his opponent from approaching in the last two minutes of the round, giving him a few moments of advantage in the fight.

Ion Kotelapa returned tired for the third round, while Dustin Jacoby showed better physical readiness, tying more strokes than Moldavi. However, these blows weren’t sharp enough to shake Cutelaba. The American began to impose himself in combat, including in combat clinging to the net, while the Moldovan defended himself, avoiding punishment. In the final seconds, Jacobi lowered Kotilapa, ending the fight from above on the ground.
