UEM selects projects and prototypes for Paraná Science and Technology Week

The State University of Maringa (UEM) has Open registration Until August 20 for a scientific fair during the State Week of Science, Technology and Higher Education in Paraná 2024. The selection of projects and prototypes for the scientific fair is intended for institutions of higher education, scientific and technological research throughout Paraná, both public and private. The program includes several activities, such as free workshops on science, technology, innovation, education, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and artistic and cultural performances.

Paraná Faz Ciência is an initiative of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Seti) and is held annually on the campus of one of the country’s universities, with the participation of public and private higher education institutions from all regions of the country. The goal is to disseminate scientific progress in various fields of knowledge, bringing together teachers, students, researchers, citizens and productive business agents.

The government action also has the support of the Secretariat of Innovation, Modernization and Digital Transformation (SEI) and the Araucaria Foundation for the Support of Scientific and Technological Development of the State of Paraná (FA).

Academic Events – During Paraná Faz Ciência 2024, UEM will simultaneously promote the 33rd Annual Scientific Initiation Meeting (Eaic 2024), with the aim of presenting the research developed within the scope of the Institutional Scientific Initiation Program (Pibid), and the 7th Annual University Extension Meeting (Eaex 2024), to present the results of the demonstration projects developed by the university.

The programme also includes the 6th Annual Meeting on University Teaching (EAEG 2024), to discuss university teaching.
