Uber App Shows Unstable Friday | Technology

Users reported that the Uber app showed instability early Friday afternoon (19).

Downdetector, a website that reports problems with digital channels, received more than 1,000 complaints by around 2 p.m., most of them related to race requests.

On X, users from Brazil and other countries commented on the matter: “Oh my god, it’s the end of the world, I can’t order an Uber,” said one user. “Is Uber down for anyone else?” asked another netizen.

Soon after, complaints on Downdetector started to drop. By around 3:30 p.m., there were just over 30 records in the system about the issue.
