Korean group Twice, who will be performing on February 6, 2024 at Allianz Park, is a K-pop girl group that was formed in 2015 through a reality show called Sixteen.

The group consists of Nayeon, Jungyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo (the leader of the group), Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Members Tzuyu and Momo only secured their spot in the final lineup ranking.

Tzuyu was included by the applause from the audience who enthusiastically watched the reality show, while Momo’s selection was due to JY Park’s founder’s perception that the group lacked someone with presentation skills.

In October 2015, the group kicked off their musical journey with the release of the extended play “The Story Begins”, which included the catchy song “Like Ooh-Ahh”. Initially, the response to its debut was not overwhelmingly positive, however, within about a month, the song managed to gain prominence by entering the top ten of several music charts in South Korea.

It didn’t take long for the EP to secure its place on the prestigious Billboard Global Albums chart in January of the following year, marking the beginning of the road to massive success for Twice.

The songs that can’t be missed

1. “Cheer up”

After overcoming challenges with their first album (the lead single, “Like OOH-AAH,” didn’t become a hit until long after its release), Twice began captivating their fans with this song, which immediately revealed the group’s penchant for tropical beats—Alice Is there a touch of technoprega here? – and the charming diversity of its members.

2. Proverb

TWICE’s first full-length album, Twicetagram, which featured the single “Likey” and marked the girls’ debut in the United States, with a large portion of the music video filmed there, marked a significant turning point in the group’s trajectory.

3. Alcohol free

Full of rhythm and charm, “Alcohol-Free” deserves to be showcased in the country that so clearly influenced it. With a touch of bossa nova music, it’s a very colorful clip with a summery touch, so it’s easy to imagine the atmosphere the stadium would have at the sound of this song.

4. Pop (Nayeon)
