Tom Holland announced that Spider-Man 4 has been confirmed and filming already has a start date: scheduled for mid-2025, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (10/21). The actor stated that the project is underway and showed enthusiasm for the future of the franchise.

In response to Fallon’s question, Holland was direct when announcing the news on the show: “It will happen. Next summer [inverno brasileiro] We started filming. Everything is ready. We’re almost there. It’s very exciting. Yes, I can’t wait.” This statement came after fan speculation about the hero’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In another appearance on “Good Morning America,” Holland provided more details about what to expect from “Spider-Man 4.” He described the film’s idea as “crazy” and stressed that the new plot would be different from anything ever done in the series: “The idea is crazy. It’s a little different from anything we’ve done before, but I think the fans will really respond to that.”
Furthermore, in an interview with “Rich Roll Podcast,” the actor revealed that he actually read a draft of the script with Zendaya. “I read it three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and in some moments we were jumping around the room, like, ‘This is a movie that deserves the respect of the fans.’ “But there are still some things we need to get right before We can really get started, but it’s exciting,” Holland shared.
