Tom Cruise made Christmas start early for the franchise team Mission: Impossible.
According to Page Six, the star had used his private jet to make a special delivery of about 300 cakes.
While filming the eighth feature film of the action movie series in London, UK, the actor wanted his colleagues to enjoy cakes from his favorite bakery, located in Los Angeles, USA.
According to a source I heard on Page Six, Tom wanted to please his co-workers, but only cakes from the bakery he liked the most would come as a surprise.
“He arranged for the shop to make 300 special cakes and sent the dessert to the UK on his plane,” the person explained.
Last year, Cruz was embroiled in controversy when audio recordings of him yelling at the crew were leaked. Mission: Impossible 7 Because of breaking protocols against covid-19 on movie sets.
At that time, the recording went down badly, with many people calling the actor rude.
In May this year, in a conversation with Empire, he spoke about the issue and revealed that he was very emotional about the interruptions that had occurred due to the pandemic: “I said what I had to say. There was a lot at stake at the time. All these feelings were going through my mind.” I was thinking about the people I’ve worked with, my field of work. And just to let the whole team know that we started shooting a movie was a huge relief. That was a lot of emotion, I’ll tell you.”
