Fundect (Foundation Supporting the Development of Education, Science and Technology of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul) shall publish a public notice of more than R$12 million in investments for innovation projects, in partnership with Finep (financier of studies and projects).
The information was released this Saturday (7) by the state government. According to the Executive Director, Marcio de Araújo Pereira, the goal is to expand, from 2023, science and technology in the state, “with many ideas for innovation and public notices of scientific research, developed by universities, on topics important to the state.
“We will also work on research and projects looking for solutions for the government, always focusing on sustainable business.”
The director noted that Mato Grosso do Sul is already a milestone in the sector due to the investments made in the past eight years and that the outlook is positive for this new cycle. “We will have important innovations, and we will continue to attract the attention of Brazil in a positive way, shining more light on Mato Grosso do Sul,” he added.
Since 2015, R$182 million has been invested in this sector. Research projects, basic and applied sciences, innovation processes, masters, PhD and even scholarships for high schools are included. The country took a very big leap, made history, and appeared in Brazil. We will continue to work to advance this development.”
