Striker Artur was called up by Tite to defend the Brazilian national team in the two matches against Argentina and Peru, for the South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, in Qatar. The confirmation came through an official statement issued by the Brazilian Federation.

Tite Artur, the most prominent star of Red Bull Bragantino this season, was called up after coach Claudinho and Malcom lost due to suspension on Zenit, from Russia, as happened with players from England.
This will be Artur’s first visit to the main Brazilian team. The athlete has previously added calls to Under-20 teams and Olympic teams. The player will join the delegation for the matches against Argentina on Sunday (5) at home and against Peru next Thursday (9) outside the home.
Right-winger Artur has been the big name of the season for Red Bull Bragantino, who plays in the G4 of Brazil and the semi-finals of the Copa Sudamerica. In total, the striker scored seven goals and nine assists in 41 matches in 2021.
