Platform Tik Tok It has been chosen, for the second year in a row, by the European Broadcasting Union as the Official Entertainment Partner for the 67th edition of Eurovision Song Contest.
The platform aims to educate its community about one of the most popular music events in the world, through live streamsand exclusive in-app content like shows, behind-the-scenes news, and music playlists.
With over 7.8 billion views projected by #EurovisionTikTok intends to expand the Eurovision Song Contest to more people in Europe and the world, setting trends and celebrating music and culture.
“Entertainment is at the heart of TikTok,” Rich Waterworth, managing director of TikTok operations in Europe, explained in a statement, adding: “We are excited to partner again with the Eurovision Song Contest to bring the magic of the world’s biggest live music event to our community. We’ve seen artists From Eurovision they start their career on TikTok and Eurovision songs are thriving on the platform beyond the contest itself. We can’t wait to see what Eurovision 2023 has in store for you.”
The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in 2023 in Liverpool, England, on behalf of Ukraine, which won last year’s edition, with the participation of the Kalush Orchestra in 2022. Ukraine will be celebrated and represented during this edition.

Contest and TikTok are an international platform for discovering new music and new artists, and we look forward to working together to create more hits in 2023.”
Mimicat was the winner of the 57th edition of the Cancao Festival in Portugal with the song “Ai Coração”, and will be the fifth performance in the first semi-final scheduled for May 9.
