Geoff Keighley has revealed that one of The Game Awards’ premieres has been in the pipeline since summer 2019.
Via Twitter, the event host shared that on December 9 the world premiere that has been in preparation for two and a half years will finally be revealed.
He says, he watched the final version of the world premiere and says he was honored by the trust they gave him to share with the world.
“Two and a half years seems like a long time, but summer 2019 was actually my last studio trip around the world. I have always enjoyed visiting the studios and hearing about their projects. I hope to do it again in 2022.”
On December 9th, the Game Awards will reward several video games and reveal many more.
Just watched the final cut of #thegameawards The world’s first offering that we’ve been working on with a developer for 2.5 years.
We are truly honored to be tasked with sharing this work with the world.
