This Tuesday, the Brazil women's team began preparations for the ninth edition of the Shebelieves Cup in Atlanta, USA. The tournament, which has been held annually since 2016, is part of the team's preparation for the Paris Olympics in July. Brazil will face Canada on Saturday at 4:30pm (Brasilia time) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of Atlanta United.

Coach Arthur Elias has two more days of ball practice at Georgia Sports Park to fine-tune the final details for his coaching debut. The team now trains at night local time, this time with the full team, defender Thais performed at night.

The SheBelieves Cup has the participation of four teams, one of which is the home team. Three other teams have also been invited. In 2024, the competition starts directly with the semi-finals (Brazil x Canada, USA x Japan). The two teams that win each match advance to the finals, while the losing teams decide third and fourth place. The final match will be played on the 9th.

Brazil's most recent participation came in 2023, finishing third and achieving its second best campaign ever. USA (1st) and Japan (2nd) were also on the podium. Canada finished fourth.
