Oil reserves in the United States fell 2.597 million barrels to 413.425 million barrels in the week ended February 25, the Department of Energy (DoE) said on Wednesday. Analysts asked The Wall Street Journal Predicts an increase of 2.2 million.

On the other hand, petrol reserves were down 468,000 barrels to 246.011 million barrels, which is expected to fall by 1.4 million barrels. 574 thousand barrels decreased to 119.104 million barrels, which is projected to decrease to 1.4 million.

Oil reserves in Cushing fell 972,000 barrels to 22.806 million barrels. Refinery utilization rates rose to 87.7% from 87.4% in the previous week, compared to 87.2% for analysts.

Meanwhile, the average daily production in the United States was 11.6 million barrels, according to DoE.
