“America’s policy toward Asia is at a crossroads,” says an article in the journal Foreign Affairs.
Sputnik – America’s global power has been waning over the past generation, and Washington is finding it harder to rule the world and maintain its primacy in Asia, according to an article published Monday in the journal Foreign Affairs.
“While America’s primacy was once a source of regional stability, there is little basis to think that it will promote reconciliation today,” the article states.
The text highlights that two of the most recent US presidents – Barack Obama and Donald Trump – have taken on the task of “setting the sun indefinitely,” and that President Joe Biden has picked up where both presidents left off.
