The short film “Tempo” directed by Divinopolitano Alisson Resende, is a finalist at the Lift-Off Global Network Sessions 2023 Festival in the UK. The award is for independent productions from around the world and is the largest in the European country.

“Tempo” competed with 107 other films and was the most voted by the People’s Jury. Now, the final will consist of seven productions that will be evaluated by technicians in the region.

The director thanked his appreciation for his work on social networks. “It gives me great pleasure to share this news with you, and it is already a victory for me. Since 2016 when I produced my first film, as a student at the International Film Academy, I have been fighting to make cinema happen in our city. And I will, God willing, continue to breathe life into my stories and they will continue to motivate others out there,” he said.

Alisson Resende is also a screenwriter and has directed other short films: “Nobody Can Hear You”, released January 2016, “Carona”, released October 2016, “Hands”, released July 2017, “Inside”, released March 2018 and ‘Voyeur’, released in October 2020.

The short film, which was released in Divinópolis in March 2022, was presented at another international festival: The Mumbai Shorts International Film, in the city of Mumbai, India. The acclaimed film is available on YouTube. look:
