The Sao Paulo state government decided Thursday evening (23) for the fans to return to the stadiums. After a meeting with the Scientific Committee, Governor João Dória authorized up to 30% of capacity in each sector as of October 4.
The organizers of sporting events will be responsible for the health standards of prevention in the fight against COVID-19. From there, there will be a gradual escalation in public publication. From October 15-30, entry to half the capacity of the arenas will be allowed. As of November 1, the full capacity of the yards has been authorized.
To enter the stadiums, fans will need to provide evidence of two doses of the vaccine (Coronovac, Astrazeneca and Pfizer) or evidence of one dose of Janssen. Those who have not yet received the second dose will also be able to attend sporting events as long as they test negative for covid-19.
Only today (23), the government of Pernambuco announced that from Monday (27), the attendance of the public is allowed in the stadiums. This move by people from Sao Paulo and Pernambuco was an important step for fans to return to the stands in Series A from Brazil.
The requirement set by the clubs is that 100% of the arenas are approved by the authorities. Now, for Brazil to open the gates again, there is only an agreement between Bahia and the Bahia Confederation with the government. Those who have not completed the vaccination schedule after at least one dose of the vaccine must submit a valid negative 48-hour test for PCR or 24 hours for antigen tests. The use of a mask is mandatory in all sections of the stadium.”
