The passenger who urinated on the American Airlines was arrested! Reproduction/Instagram
A 25-year-old passenger was arrested after standing up and urinating on an American Airlines flight from Portland (Oregon, USA) to Manchester (New Hampshire).
Neil McCarthy was charged by a New York court with the criminal conduct of indecent exposure (indecent exposure).
The flight was diverted to Buffalo, New York after the incident on July 3. Neal was detained by agents stationed at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Neal told police he drank several whiskeys and soft drinks before boarding the plane and drank more during a layover in Chicago.
Ron Kittle, a witness on board, posted pictures of the inappropriate scene on Instagram and wrote:
“I’m sure he doesn’t know what he did or what happened! An hour and a half of my time was wasted!”
The accused, who lives in Oregon, faces a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a fine of US$5,000 (approximately R$27,000), the “Daily Mirror” reported.
