This week, the Padre Gerson Galvino Municipal School of Laranjeiras do Sul is holding the first science fair and educational fair on the environment.
A science fair is a science event that allows students to experience creative and investigative processes and share knowledge, fostering an invaluable relationship with the community, and strengthening them as citizens and subjects in the knowledge-building process.
Based on some reflections, it is conceivable that, in the case of exhibitions, the possibility of promoting an action of interaction between the components of the curricula, the school and the community.
According to Principal Andrea Portela, the aim of the fair is to make students aware of environmental conservation, while keeping in mind global warming and other related problems.
Schedule
The exhibition will include various activities such as a photography competition, models and prizes for students.
Yesterday (05) on World Environment Day, lectures on awareness and nature conservation were held with agricultural engineer Daniel, and tree seedlings were delivered to each student in partnership with Engy.
Today (06) there will be an exhibition of works and models open to family members at 10:45 am and 4 pm.
Photo contest
The competition was held with the students of the school, where each of them presented an image related to the environment for coordination.
According to Principal Andrea, the project has teamwork between students and their families in mind. “The idea is for the family to go for a walk, observe nature and choose a place to take pictures and record the moments.”
Tomorrow (07) the winning photos will be selected and then awarded to the other categories.
