disclosure
On Saturday (10) and Sunday (11) the first edition of the Open Cu Festival of Music and Thought will be held. It will bring together 11 music teachers and eight lectures with a variety of topics and will be broadcast online, live, through YouTube. On my two programming days, activities start at 10 AM and continue until 7 PM without interruption. The event is sponsored by the City of Londrina, through Promic (Municipal Culture Incentive Program).
To follow the schedule, simply access the link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEV-3v9koj1YnNqrorRV01Q. The intention is for the audience to leave the YouTube channel online during the weekend or, if this is not possible, to choose the attractions of most interest.
The founder of the festival, Isabella Cunha, explained that in this extra moment, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the intention is for people to make the festival a company. According to her, an artistic and educational program was created so that people could communicate and listen throughout the two days. In addition to being able to follow the full schedule, audiences can also choose their favorite attractions, by schedule, and see each attraction that interests them.
The program has attractions from Londrina, Brazil and even the UK. According to Isabella Cunha, its highlight is the possibility to visit traditional cultures, such as indigenous knowledge, nag culture, samba, Tibetan mugs and contemporary productions, such as Marcello Casagrande’s vibraphone, improvised duets, solos and rap.
