It won't be long before we get to know the new Chevrolet Spin. After being officially confirmed as one of the new features of the American brand at BBB 2024, the redesigned minibus was seen almost without camouflage on the streets of São Caetano do Sul (SP). The photos were originally posted by Matheus Mendes on Instagram.

The images also reveal that the new Chevrolet Spin will be inspired by the American automaker's SUVs. At the front, the most notable thing is the controversial split headlights, which will have LEDs at the top. Visually, the range is similar to the Seeker SUV sold in China. Directly below are the main headlights, a new front grille, and a redesigned bumper.

Moreover, all new Spin versions should have inserts on the wheel arches, a raised suspension, and an adventurous appearance like the current Spin Activ. All this to bring the Spin closer to the Tracker and Equinox SUVs. On the side, the only change should be the newly designed wheels, keeping much of the original 2012 lines.

At the back, the lights will have a new shape and will be connected by a ribbon. The bumper and trunk lid are also new. Inside, inspiration will come from the Montana pickup truck. In addition to a similar design and the same steering wheel, the new Spin will have an 8-inch multimedia player integrated into the instrument panel, which will be digital, unlike the Montana.

Under the hood, there are rumors that the new Spin will be equipped with a 116 hp 1.0 Onyx turbo-flex engine, mated to a manual or automatic transmission, both six-speed. There is also a possibility that the minivan will retain the current 111 PS 1.8 aspirated engine, at least in entry-level versions.

Expected to debut in the first quarter of 2024, the new Spin will be the first of six new features that Chevrolet will unveil later this year in Brazil. Among them, there are also the redesigned S10 and Trailblazer and new versions of the Montana and Silverado.
