Rumors say that AMD should move forward the launch date of the Ryzen 9000 Also, with very slight gains in gaming performance.
According to Tom’s devicesleaked slides from MSI’s presentation show that the Ryzen 7 98003XD has an average gain of only 11% in frame rate in games compared to the Ryzen 7000X3D series processors. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D will reach 13%. Performance was evaluated in games like Far Cry 6, Black Myth: Wukong, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which are more than six years old and still show up live in performance tests.
This means that the new Ryzen 9000X3D processors specifically aimed at gaming should outperform the already released benchmark versions of the Zen 5 generation, when at the same clock rate. But it’s worth remembering that the “core” Ryzen 9000 processor usually runs at higher clocks.
Ryzen 9000X3D is only in rumors at the moment
Every rumor should be viewed with suspicion, especially in “wireless phone” cases. MSI chipset results are discussed at a closed event. We still don’t have official information and leaks of other benchmark tests have been rare. The Ryzen 9000X3D models also showed up in Cinebench R23, with slightly better gains.
More about Ryzen 90003XD:
It’s also interesting to remember that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is currently expected to arrive later this month, with 3D V-Cache on just one chip (CCD). Meanwhile, models expected for next year – the Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D – can use this cache on both CCDs.
If the first Ryzen 9000XD arrives at the end of October, we will have official information to evaluate, and it will also help the credibility of the current rumors.
