In another statement, the authorities said they found rooms, including bathrooms, storage facilities for weapons and combat equipment, and the bodies of fighters left in the tunnel.

The exterior site verified the shape and location of buildings, corridors and walls matching archival photographs and satellite images of the area. Reuters was unable to independently verify the date the video was filmed.
