The horrific photos taken by a marine drone have entered a category 4 hurricane in the middle of the ocean

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has placed a robotic surfboard at the center of a toxic hurricane, currently the most powerful storm on Earth with winds of 230 kilometers per hour.

A toxic hurricane is what meteorologists call a “fish” storm, which is unlikely to hit land directly and primarily affect the open ocean, as detailed on the Infobae website.

The air and sea agency is responsible for making hurricane forecasts and researching these storms to improve those forecasts.

The new drone program, a partnership with private company Saildrone, is helping fill a critical data gap that intrepid hurricane chasers who fly during these storms can’t address.

According to NOAA, the Saildrone Explorer SD1045 handles waves of more than 15 meters and winds of up to 200 kilometers per hour in its position within the storm.

This is the first land warning since the seventh hurricane of 2020, which is rated 4 on the Saffir-Simpson Scale (maximum of 5).

Also according to the information, she has traveled across the Atlantic for several days and far from land. Watch the video:
