After nearly two decades of winning BP4, Cida Santos maintains a loyal audience on social media, with a total of 23k followers. The former nanny was the first woman to win the reality show prize, which was worth R$500,000 at the time. In an interview with the O Globo portal, she talked about her life currently, as she is forty years old.
“Sometimes they stop me on the street too, but they say I look completely different. They didn’t recognize it right away. I’m 40 years old now. I completed 21 years at the BBB. Today I’m at home. Sometimes I do some work online, or at “Partnerships…but I don’t work abroad. My husband works as a delivery man, so he helps me a lot.” He said.
About ten years ago, I faced a financial crisis when I became a guarantor for a property whose debts went unpaid. The former BBB participant had to pay up, and ended up losing the home she bought with part of the reality prize.
“You have already faced many problems regarding the money you have earned, and everyone knows that. I lost my home at that time. But I was able to buy another house and some land. I have money to support myself. But high value, no. “I intend to build something to rent, and we are investing in this to have security going forward.” He spoke.
Despite everything, she does not regret her participation in the program. “I’m still a winner. I walk with my head up and a smile on my face. I won’t give up, I’ll keep fighting, no matter what happens. I’m proud that I participated. Getting this opportunity was worth it. I am who I am today because of BBB.”
