The Galaxy M55 is Samsung's first mid-range cell phone to support 45W charging

The Galaxy M55 is Samsung's first mid-range cell phone to support 45W charging

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy M55 and it is now available in Brazil. In this sense, the intermediate model brings some interesting features, one of which is the addition of a cable with support 45W fast charging.

However, the M55 is the brand's first model in this segment to have more charging capacity. Furthermore, the South Korean company also took the unprecedented step of adding the accessory to enable this more powerful charging, although it did not include a 45W source in the box.

Until then, Samsung has sent out a 25W charging cable for its devices. In comparison, the new insert is slightly thicker so it can support more power transmission. Therefore, Galaxy M55 owners will be able to charge the device more quickly, as long as they have the appropriate source.

As for the charging time, Samsung did not announce the device, focusing on this aspect. However, the first tests carried out in the media indicate that the model can be charged from 0 to 100% in about 70 minutes, which is 15 minutes faster compared to the A55, which has a 25W charger.
