Director Adam McKay posted on social media: “Just to be clear, Bolsonaro will definitely tell people not to look up. No doubt.”
247 – Director Adam McKay, director of the popular Netflix movie Don’t Look Up, which has exposed the rise of denial around the world, has used social media to claim that Jair Bolsonaro will be among the group’s advocates for denials appearing in the film. Just to be clear, Bolsonaro will definitely tell people not to look. No doubt,” McKay posted on Twitter.
The director’s post was published because of a Article by the Minister of the Civic House, Ciro Nogueira, which was published by the newspaper O Globo on Sunday (16). In the script, entitled “In Elections, Look Up: Think of the Day After,” Nogueira compares planet Earth to a comet approaching Earth as depicted in the film.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, and shows two scientists trying to warn humanity of the arrival of a comet that will wipe out life on Earth, but they are ignored by denial and due to commercial interests.
