The Defense + Science program will invest €8 million in research and innovation – science

A statement from the Ministries of National Defense, Science and Technology, and Higher Education explained that funding for the Defense + Science program is allocated To research projects between entities of the national scientific and technological system and entities of national defense (SCTN), as well Doctoral scientific placements and advanced training at doctoral level.

According to the government, The goal is to continue investing in strengthening national scientific and technological capabilities and strengthening the defense economyAnd enhancing coordination between companies, higher education institutions, research centers and the armed forces, in addition to research, development and innovation.

The objectives of the program are in line with the decision proposal on the main options for the strategic concept of national defense submitted to the Council of the Republic. The proposal identifies issues such as developing scientific and technological capabilities and strengthening the national educational project as essential.
