Comedian Henderson Nunes asked his favorite club to help promote a solidarity event for flood victims in Rio Grande do Sul, and his social media influencer called on Vasco Club to lend the São Januario stadium for a show, with all income going to… Donations.

He said in a post on his Twitter account: “I make an offer and we send money to people in the south. I pay for the structure and you lend me the stadium.” X (old Twitter).

Vasco shared Henderson Nunes’ post and responded to the request: “Come on! Good idea. Count on us. Let’s talk in PV (private) to agree on the details”, announced the Rio de Janeiro club.

This is not the first action taken by Henderson Nunes to help the victims of Rio Grande do Sul, the comedian has carried out and continues to run fundraising campaigns for the state on his social networks. In fact, it was able to collect more than R$ 1 million in donations.

Heavy rain in Rio Grande do Sul

The southern region of Brazil, especially the state of Rio Grande do Sul, has suffered heavy rains in recent days. According to Civil Defense, 31 people were killed and 74 people were missing as a result of the storms as of Friday morning.

The international training center located on the banks of the Guayba River in Porto Alegre was taken over by the waters. As a precautionary measure, the Brazilian Confederation decided to postpone “all matches scheduled in the state in which teams from Rio Grande do Sul participate as visitors until Monday (6) in all competitions and divisions of Brazilian football.”
