The civil ceremony was held on Saturday (24th), at the city registry office. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the couple Jose Praz and Maria Simoa got married in the presence of few family members.
According to the groom, the ceremony was emotional. “It’s a lot of emotion,” he said.

But soon after signing the wedding papers and taking the wedding vows, the bride rushed to a health clinic to receive her first dose of Covid-19.
In the health unit, Maria Simois has been immunized while still wearing the bride’s dress. With a relative and the vaccination team, she made sure to record the moment the application was submitted on a photo.
