SÃO PAULO, SP (FOLHAPRESS) – Oncologist Bruno Ferrari, founder and CEO of the Oncoclínicas Group, has been elected a member of the International Board of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel.
He will be part of a group of scientists from around the world dedicated to studies and research in the fight against cancer.
The Oncoclinicas Group has contributed to the Weizmann Institute’s tumor bank, which is working to discover how genes control tumor growth, as well as identify personalized treatments for cancer patients.
The company is also involved in research projects and studies coordinated by Professor Yardina Samuels, an Israeli biologist and director of the Institute’s Icard Institute for Cancer Diagnostics Research.
