Today, Monday, the Brazilian Football Confederation set the date for the draw that will determine the matches in the third stage of the 2024 Brazilian Cup. The ceremony will be held next Wednesday, starting at 2:30 pm, in Rio de Janeiro.
In total, 32 clubs will be divided into two pots determined by the national club rankings. The teams are grouped as follows:
- Pot 1: Flamengo, Palmeiras, Sao Paulo, Atletico PR, Atletico MG, Corinthians, Fluminense, Gremio, Fortaleza, Internacional, Bahia, Botafogo, Red Bull Bragantino, Atletico GO, Ceara and Cuiaba.
- Pot 2: Goias, Vasco, Juventude, Sport, CRB, Vitoria, Criciuma, Sampaio Correa, Operario-PR, Botafogo-SP, Brosque, Ypiranga-RS, América-RN, Amazonas, Aguia de Maraba and Sousa-BP. .

From this stage onwards, matches will be played on a home-and-away basis. The dates reserved by the Brazilian Confederation for the third stage of the Brazilian Cup are 1 and 22 May.
The draw ceremony will be broadcast live on CBF TV.

In the third stage, all clubs, regardless of division, will receive the same participation quota. Each of the 16 teams that will qualify for the Round of 16 will receive R$3.465 million.
