Born on June 23, 1980, American actress Melissa Rauch is best known for playing the role of Bernadette Marian Rostenkowski Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory.
However, this isn’t her only notable role, and she is one of the few actresses in Hollywood who can say they’ve been through both Marvel and DC, playing both hero and villain in both universes.

Melissa Rauch in Marvel
Melissa Rauch joined Marvel when she was still working on The Big Bang Theory.
She did not act directly in any of the MCU films, but she was able to voice the character Wasp in the animated series Ant-Man, which was released in 2017 on the Disney XD lineup.
The series came two years after the debut of the movie of the same name with Paul Rudd, which hit theaters in 2015.
However, for the animation now available on Disney+, none of the MCU actors have reprized their roles, providing the opportunity for new stars to voice characters in the short film series that sees the hero face off against various villains known to comic book readers.
Melissa Rauch in the capital
Already in DC, Melissa Rauch had the opportunity to voice the beloved villain Harley Quinn in the animated film Batman and Harley Quinn: Knocks and Laughs, which was also released in 2017.
The film premiered one night only in US theaters in August of that year and is now available on HBO Max.
Batman and Harley Quinn: Bangs and Laughs sees Batman and Nightwing teaming up with Harley Quinn to defeat the famous villains in the comic book: Poison Ivy and Floronic Man!
Despite being a standalone adventure, the film is also a bit of an acclaimed successor to Batman: The Animated Series, from 1992, the Hollywood Reporter notes, since Kevin Conroy has voiced Batman in both projects, which also have the same animation style.
