The app offers instability and queuing consultation

Initially, on Wednesday (1), the federal government began the process of launching another extraordinary round of the Stop Compensation Fund (FGTS). However, the process of consulting the available balances causes headaches for some users. According to reports, the government’s official application will show instability and the formation of a waiting list.

Queue in applications

Common in physical bank branches, queuing has become common in online money transfer apps as well. The FGTS application does not appear to have escaped the norm. According to reports on social media, citizens who need to consult information have to wait up to half an hour to get what they want.

In short, this is not the first time this phenomenon has occurred. Previously, only last Wednesday (25), reports from workers also indicated instability. On that date, the federal government also issued a round of the guarantee fund. In some cases, citizens have reported that even after minutes of waiting, the app has problems.

According to one of the users, the system created a queue in her name, and she had to wait just over fifteen minutes. However, even when it was her turn, the app introduced a new state of instability and it had to go back to the end of the default queue. According to her, the operation had to be performed three times before she could make the appointment.

On a note, Caixa Econômica Federal explained that a queue forms when there are a large number of users trying to access the platform at once. “In times of high volume of access (peaks), the user can be directed to a temporary queue, with the aim of ensuring access to services for all Brazilians,” the bank says.

Unusual FGTS

According to forecast Federal governmentit is estimated that just over 34 million Brazilian workers have the right to withdraw the Extraordinary Deposit from the Interruption Compensation Fund (FGTS).

Deposits are up to R$1,000 per person. In most cases, it is not necessary to make any kind of order, i.e. funds are credited to the account automatically. The day of payment is determined by the month of birth of each worker.

However, there are cases when a credit request is necessary. You do not have to leave home to apply. Simply open the FGTS app and report the decision. The app is free and now available for download on Android and iOS phones.
