Syrians for Truth and Justice rejects the representative’s request and insists on the dismissal of “Ednaldo” from the Brazilian Federation

The MP appealed to the Supreme Court seeking an injunction to suspend the decision of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice that removed Ednalo from office by invalidating the Assembly that elected him.

The representative’s action is justified because the body is at the center of the debate on the legitimacy of the leader’s election – the elections were approved after an agreement between the representative and the Brazilian Confederation.

However, the President of STJ, María Teresa de Assis, recognized that there was no possibility of serious harm to the Brazilian border forces in this case, that is, it did not make sense to issue an injunction. It claims that there was judicial intervention in the entity due to the MP’s actions.

“In this case, the requesting party does not even provide reasons proving that there has been real serious damage to the assets protected under Article 4 of Law No. 8437/1992, but only records that there is a “risk of serious harm to public order, security and the economy from judicial intervention in the forces.” Brazilian border forces”, a general claim that, according to the evidence, is not sufficient to grant counter-caution. This is the second decision of the Supreme Court in favor of the decision of the Court of Justice and maintaining the departure of Ednaldo. There is still one action in the STF brought by the PSD.

At the moment, there are already discussions among leaders regarding the election of the Brazilian Football Confederation. Ednaldo himself is negotiating to join the opposition movement led by Flavio Zveter and Gustavo Figo.
