In February last year, before the release of Season 4, Netflix released an open letter from the production’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, revealing that Season 5 would conclude the series.
“Seven years ago, we planned the entire plot of Stranger Things. At that time, our idea was for the series to last four to five seasons. We couldn’t fit it all into four seasons, but as you will see, the story is coming to an end.declares an excerpt.
Like many other productions, the fifth season of Stranger Things was halted due to a strike by actors and writers. Since the new episodes haven’t been taped yet and the hits aren’t expected to end, it looks like it’ll be a while before we receive a release date for the final episode of “Stranger Things.”
