Starting from Monday (14), Arapiraca will hold the 21st National Science and Technology Week

By investing in scientific and technological initiatives, the Municipality of Araberacoense has integrated itself with innovations and sought to broaden the horizons of students across the municipal education network by participating in nationally renowned events.

From 14 to 25 October, the Arapiraca City Hall, through the Municipal Ministry of Education, will be part of the 21st National Week of Science and Technology (SNCT), which in this edition will address the theme “Biomes in Brazil: Diversity, Knowledge and Social Technologies”, Action Proposed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

With the approval of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/MCTI), No. 08/2024 – National Science and Technology Week – SNCT 2024, in Arabiraca, the Scientific Development Center (NDC) will address the centenary of the Land of Manuel André, under the slogan “100 years of Arabiraca: Scientific education for a sustainable future.

The activities will take place in several educational institutions in the city, in addition to the participation of the city’s large academic centers, such as the state and federal universities of Alagoas, Onial and Oval respectively, and the University Center of Mauricio de Nassau (Uninasão), Faculdade Anhanguera, Soberana and Cesmac do Agreste.

On October 22, the Mestre Afrisio Acácio tent, in Praça Luís Pereira Lima, will host the third edition of the Mathematics, Science and Technology Exhibition (Expomatec), with a display of works and much more.

SNCT will exceed the specified deadline. On November 12, Tuesday, the Center for Support of Full-Time Schools I (Caeti-I), located on the banks of the AL-110 highway, near the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Arabiraca Campus (IFAL – Arabiraca), will host the Municipal Robotics Olympiad (OMR).
