Paragominhas, Castanhal and Ituberanga clubs have lodged appeals with the Sporting Tribunal, alleging irregular lineups made by Ogoya de Maraba and Bragantino. The clubs requested that this year’s competition be postponed until the process is judged, because a positive decision will lead to losing points for Agoya and Bragantino, and changing the championship classification.
In this case, Bragantino will be relegated to Paragominas, while Castanhal will be in Serie D instead of Agoya.
The STJD establishes a 24-hour period for notification and compliance with the proceeding and that it “takes judgment affidavits into the records and notifies the auditor of the reports so that judgment is issued within 48 hours, under penalty of liability; and so that the records are sent to STJD within 72 hours, whether Judgment passed or not.
