Spain summons its ambassador after describing the Prime Minister’s wife, Miley, as “corrupt”

“With his behavior, Miley took the relationship between Spain and Argentina to the most dangerous situation in modern history,” Albares said in a video statement.

Miley’s visit broke diplomatic protocol, as he refused to meet Spain’s King Felipe and Sánchez, preferring to promote his book alongside Vox leader Santiago Abascal at the party’s rally.

“Attacks against family members of political leaders have no place in our culture,” EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in a post on X.
